Body Stress Release
for riders
As a rider, you know how important it is to be balanced and in harmony with your horse. Every move you make in the saddle affects your horse, and any discomfort you feel can interfere with your performance and the collaboration between the two of you. Tension and physical stress in your body can cause your riding performance to deteriorate and reduce your ability to communicate and connect with your horse.

What I appreciate about Megan's approach is that she never focuses solely on the weaker areas; instead, she treats the entire body, from head to toe. This is something I’ve never experienced before with other treatment methods.

Improve your balance and ride
Body Stress Release (BSR) is a technique that helps to release physical tensions and blockages in your body. This promotes better posture, balance and smoother communication between you and your horse.
BSR focuses on locating and releasing built-up tension and stress in your body. By relieving these tensions, your body can recover and function optimally again. The technique is safe, gentle and effective, and can help you feel better about yourself, both in everyday life and while riding.

How BSR can help you as a rider
1. Improved balance and posture
Ideally, the rider creates stable contact points with the saddle through the sit bones and pubic bone. If you suffer from tension or pain in your lower back, hips, or shoulders, this affects your posture and balance in the saddle. BSR helps relieve these tensions, bringing you back into balance and improving your posture.
2. Reduce physical pain and tension
Long-term horseback riding can lead to physical complaints, such as tension in the neck, shoulders, or lower back. These tensions can cause you to unconsciously adjust your posture and no longer sit optimally in the saddle. This can lead to reduced control of your horse. With BSR, you can release these painful tensions and move more freely.
3. Better communication with your horse
When you are freer and more relaxed in the saddle, you are better able to pass on subtle signals to your horse. Correct posture and balance allow for better communication, which is essential for smoothly performing complex movements like side passes or transitions.
4. Stress reduction and increased focus
Stress can affect not only your body but also your mental state. When you’re stressed or holding tension, it is harder to fully focus on your ride. BSR not only helps you release physical tension but also reduces mental stress. This creates more calmness, focus and a better riding experience.
Stable visits possible
For groups of at least four clients/treatments within a 35 km radius (from Duizel), I am happy to come to the stables for on-site treatments. This ensures that you and your fellow riders can easily benefit from a Body Stress Release treatment without having to travel.
